Teaching History Through Interactive Theatre

The Guild of St. George is a non-profit, public benefit educational corporation dedicated to teaching history through interactive theatre. The guild embraces historical authenticity and theatrical excellence to create an environment in which the past can be accurately and passionately experienced by ourselves and our audiences.

The Guild of St. George was incorporated in 2000 by people with years or decades of experience presenting the nobility of Elizabethan England at the Renaissance Pleasure Faire™ who were looking for a living history experience unencumbered by the limitations of any one event. Since that time, the Guild of St. George has participated in many Elizabethan Re-enactment events, including Reniassance faires from Lake Tahoe to Simi Valley. We have performed at the Huntington Library, Art Museum, and Botanical Gardens in San Marino California, and have performed at the Getty Center in Los Angeles. The Guild of St. George educational outreach program provides re-enactors to schools, libraries and other public venues.

The Guild of St. George recognizes that it is talented people who are the creators of a living history experience. Our members bring a depth of knowledge, experience, and dedication that is second to none. We encourage you to peruse our web site and to contact us for more information on how you can become a part of the Guild of St. George.
